Taiwan Business Bank won 2021 Asia Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Taiwan Business Bank has been striving for sustainable development and ESG. Not only attaching importance to environmental protection and strengthening corporate governance, but also committing to the practice of corporate social responsibility. TBB participated in Asia Corporate Social Responsibility Award (AREA) for the second time and won the Social Empowerment Award again. After being included in the "Taiwan Sustainability Index", "Taiwan High Salary 100 Index" and "Employment 99 Index" for many consecutive years, TBB was recognized again by CSR-related awards in 2021. On September 2, the organizer held an online award ceremony and broadcast the introduction video of Taiwan Business Bank, which promoted TBB’s ESG concept to the international stage.
"AREA” has been held by the non-governmental organization "Asian Enterprise Chamber of Commerce" since 2011. The purpose is to certify and recognize enterprises that practice sustainable development. Since 2015, the award has been extended to the whole of Asia. It has become one of the important annual evaluation activities of the business community in the Asia-Pacific region. Taiwan Business Bank participated in the "Social Empowerment" project with "Improve Dangerous and Old Buildings and Implement Urban Renewal” as the main theme, supplemented by the achievements and influence of the "Dangerous Elderly + Metropolis Expo and Seminar" hosted by the bank.
Taiwan Business Bank is the only professional bank for small and medium-sized enterprises in Taiwan. In addition to working hard in its own business, TBB also hopes to contribute to Taiwan for the entire global village. The high proportion of dangerous and old buildings in Taiwan affects not only the appearance of the city but also living safety problems of residents.
